i'd have to agree with Gasfiend...

There was a great sense of tension built throughout that was tossed out at the end for a silly gag. The gag almost felt like a cop-out, as crafting an emotionally resonating ending would have been harder but a more fitting and rewarding pay off.

It's a nice premise, animation, and voice work but every bit drags on longer than it should. On top of that the 0 to 60 instant rage of the owl is awkward. There's no build up to it, just shouting.

understanding the humor

I'm pretty sure that this was NOT meant to bash either Ego-Raptor or Happy Harry. If it was I doubt the guys would actually lend their voice acting to the porject. On top of that this character is supposed to be a close-minded prick who talks shit about everything, that's what he does.
